Structured Deliberative Processes

METTA Dialogue is a way to constructively discuss important topics and issues in any area of common interest. It does so through orienting discussion towards ideas and solutions, whilst providing a structure through which to navigate disagreements and resolve differences.

At its root, METTA Dialogue is a social technology.

It is a collection of processes for collaborative problem-solving and co-creative policy formation intended as building blocks for a new form of holarchically organised deliberative democracy.

It is a facilitative tool that gives all participants an equal voice and opportunity to input into policy areas of common concern by structuring dialogue in a clear and concise manner.

These processes encourage a broader understanding of a subject area and enhance decision-makers’ ability to make the most informed choices in line with the very best interests of all concerned.
